A Retreat for Artists Umbria 2024

This exclusive retreat is designed to cater to experienced artists seeking a fresh, inspiring location to delve into their process and develop as artists. 

Nestled in the heart of Italy, Umbria is surrounded by neighboring regions like Tuscany, Marche, and Lazio. Its breathtaking beauty is characterized by rolling hills covered in olive groves and vineyards, enchanting medieval villages perched atop hills, and ancient stone bridges that span over meandering rivers. The studio provided for the artists is spacious with natural light, ensuring the perfect creative environment. As part of the experience, artists will have the opportunity to explore the neighboring villages, discovering hidden gems, and capturing the essence of this timelessly picturesque region on their canvases. During their stay, artists will be accommodated in a charming villa, offering single ensuite rooms and every comfort to enhance their creative process. 

Everything is included in the package, from professional tuition and art guidance by Professional artist Sandra Iafrate, to delectable meals prepared by our own chef. Additionally, we will take care of travel arrangements to nearby towns, allowing artists to fully immerse themselves in the local culture and artistic heritage. 

The only thing you need to arrange is your airfare to Rome, and from there, we'll take care of the rest, ensuring an unforgettable and transformative experience as you develop your artistry in the inspiring embrace of Umbria.

Prices and What is Included

(painting holiday is priced in British Pounds Sterling as our tour company is based in Edinburgh.)

Fee: 1950 GBP  per person which is approximately $3312. Canadian Dollars or $2505, USD depending on current exchange rates at time of booking (no extra charge for single room!)

Please note a non-refundable deposit of 250GBP per person is required to secure your place upon registration. The remaining deposit is due 10 weeks prior to the trip. (July, 20, 2024)

We are limited to a group size of 10 guests on this tour. Bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

Included • Return airport group land transfer based on collection/return to Rome airport • Private villa accommodation with en-suite rooms • Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, including prosecco & local wine with lunch and dinners • Excursions to midieval villages during the week • Private minibus transfers throughout • Services of our bi-lingual host to look after the group throughout • Private Italian cook to prepare all meals for group throughout and and some off-site dining during the week.

*Also included: Accessibility to some art supplies Professional GOLDEN Artist Colors professional quality paints and mediums and tuition for daily workshops of a minimum of 3-hours of lessons per day plus 24-hour availability of the studio.

Flights to Italy / Personal travel insurance, cancelation insurance (recommended)

Brushes and painting panels or canvases. A suggested material list will be provided.
